*sorry if i double posted this somewhere else*

for the record i had 2k classic and MPC60 (had a XL for a week few months ago)

iv had the mpc for about 2 weeks now been messing with it trying to remember how everything works again...

iv never messed with time stretch on a MPC before. i looked in the manual but didn't find what i was looking for...

to make it simple... can the XL stretch the samples like sp1200... a smooth roll off at the end???

iv messed with most the settings in time stretch but don't get the result im looking for...

thanks in advance, sorry for the noob question.

Loop sample in trim screen, shift program, params, adjust decay until sample is at desired "Release"

highlight the tail of the sample in trim and choose "make new sound" .. assign that to a new pad and manually loop it in. try 16 levels velocity to loop at lower "quieter" levels.

maybe that might work.

guess i did it wrong, gonna try again... mine just played the whole sample and just released the sample earlier, didnt loop the end or keep it any longer... i will try to do that method to the tail of the sample see how it comes out.

iv been doing the tail trim and 16 lvl manually but it kills my work flow... might just have to stick with that for now.
