Need help trying to connect alesis micron to the mpc500

I have all the cables connected. Tried midi in/out on both the micron and the mpc... Has anyone tried connecting both of these??

have not tried it myself, only just got the MPC500
still learning how to use it

Do you want to be a bit more specific? What are you trying to achieve? Have you plugged the audio outs from the Micron into your amp or mixer?

I have the audio connected on the micron the midi cables connected but I can't get any sound from the mpc I know that midi cable don't carry sound... So I guess my question is how can I get it to work the way it should
