I use OS2XL coz it has quantize strengh (i recommend 70% for a nice groove) and also because it's the latest version and I hope there will be new updates again.
os2xl but i think i'm gonna go back to os 1 if os2xl stay in it's actual state
When one man takes a stand against something its very easy to write it off as “hating”. But if everybody speaks up, it becomes much more. soundclick myspace
no,no not only because im dutch but because i wanted to check out the JJOS instead of akai os. I love jjos so i'm gonna upgrade to version 1 when i have some money for it
After dealing with a few issues, I've switched from OS2XL back to OS2 so I can get some work done. But I'm still keeping my eyes open for any latest developments in OS2XL.
JJOS2XL is the most musical and simplistic to translate what is in my mind. I know a lot of people like the depth of os2 as I do as well, but 2XL really expands my creativity through its organization and intuitiveness. 2XL is fluid, and what features it lacks from os2, is made up by it's immediacy to make music.
jj os 1 atm. Only had my mpc a week or so so i'm still gettin to grips with it. It's a big step up from the akai OS and and makes the mpc a much more useful machine. Unless i find myself outgrowing it i'm sticking with it for the forseeable.
1k: JJOS 1. No need for an upgrade for me. 2500: Free version, no money yet to buy the whole jj package. Otherwise I would have purchased OS1 for the 2500 too.
JJOS2 and XL looks cool too, but I feel like I don't need or miss the extra functions (yet).
