lol i know, i just thought his avi was funny, the lettering comes out NICE. $180 vs the $700+ that rip off artist charges is a good deal imo, i never really liked his work to begin with his sh!t looks way too glossy/shiny

His stuff doesn't hold up well either.

I've personally seen some heavy hitter clients' product modded by him and it holds up like sh!t.

Paint wears off the buttons, wrist rests, etc,

you'd think for the money he'd put in colored buttons rather than painting,

No excuse for easily chipped, scratched, peeled paint..... use the right chemistry and don't spray too heavy and you're straight.

Also, the wood caps are super crappy too, I was surprised, nothing like in the pics.

And finally, are you kidding me? Modding for 'big timers' and you're doing crappy work for em at big money prices?

Anyway.... Wish I could say who's stuff I've seen, it's been in my studio, multiple artists, I guess I'll leak it in pre-release :)

Ooooooh, and as far as screening goes, yeah I can't believe what they charge.

Screen really doesn't cost that much, neither does 'film', ink and layout and frames and all that.

Crazy.

Screening is the only thing holding up my 4K mod.

I have the wood end and wrist caps finished! SICK!

And I can get it CHROMED for $75...........

Screening for nearly $200? Sheeeeesha bong....... That's what I'm getting too, and even higher for screening on chrome cause the ink is different.

Wish my guy hadn't gotten out of the profession, coulda got it cheap.

I've been tryin to find someplace that can plotter 8 or 10 point font..... then I'd just do it with a mask.

Vinyl Cutters, PLOTTERS, can be bought really cheap..... like $150 on ebay.

Problem is the cheap ones have a large tolerance, which is fine if you're cutting window vinyl graphics and stuff, but not good when making really small, fine, detailed stuff.

Also, none of them I could find would cut a small enough font (8 or 10 point).

I think the smallest I found was 14 point.

I experimented with my template for the 4000, but going with that big of a font just looked like crap.

^^i hear ya..any bigger than what it is and it will look funky..
i seen the plotters on there for 150 also..they could be a hella money maker,,doing signs and all that for way cheaper than anyone around..off to the bay..

LOL  go get em tiger!

I was thinking of buying one too, I buy a lot of vinyl.

I'm on there looking for a simple, single channel, cheap Trigger to MIDI converter

can't seem to find anything.

Might just have to make and manufacture it.
