Hi people, I just got Me an mpc off ebay, Its a 1000, not jjos, the old red and blue type,

I wouldlike to know how to get your samples set up to the pads, I managed to get one sample assigned to a pad, and I recorded a patern using the one sample, but as I went to search for other samples to assign to the pads, the piece I recorded dissappeared, I know im doing wrong, Just need a bit of guidence if I can, Also, when You have chopped a sample, do you have to save it via mode, pad3 ?,

Cheers

both individual samples and programs can be set to mono/poly. that's where your problem lies. your progrtam is set on mono. see the manual for full explanation.

put the drums and melody on different programs.

but first you need to install jjos. it's far superior to the akia os.
