Trim Samples

what's up peeps can someone help me? I just got the 2500 and I am wondering is there a faster way to trim samples on this machine besides trying to guess the what number will move in closer to the wave? On the 2000 all you need to do is move the jog wheel to the left and you can scroll to the first number and trim your sample real fast. Can someone help me please ? Thanks.

You can use your Q sliders. The left slider operates the Start parameter, the right slider operates the End parameter. Just hold down the after button and slide away.

I'm on jj so i'm not that familiar with akai os, but, if i remember correctly, you can just move the cursor to the left to trim by 10's, or 100's or 1000's.

btw, this is one of the reasons i originally went for jj, you can hold shift while you scroll to go faster.

Yeah, on Akai OS, you just hold shift and press the left or right cursor depending on if you are trimming start or end. On JJ, I just press the two after buttons and move the sliders.

Ha I didn't even know that myself. I'll have to remember that for future use.

Before I woke up to the sliders I thoght the 25 had the most frustrating trim mode EVER! Q sliders= bomb
