ok heres the base coat i used...i tried a transparent blue over my base coat and it ended up cracking..and this is after letting it set over night..so i think im going to change my colors to a mettalic blue over charcoal grey..well heres the design im rolling with anyhow..

if the edges of where the paints meet,its because i havent done anything with it due to it cracking on me...so back to the drawing board and back to step 1..ahhh the joys!!!!!

dope colors! it would look better with just the pads outlined minus the vol and rec knobs and f buttons imo. But do your thing...show me the vision. Are you painting the screen housing blue or charcoal? And are you saying your repainting again?

exact same opinion as this guy ^^.. it looks dope.. but its the outlining of the F buttons and vol/rec knobs that are really bothering me.. 8/10 imo

hey every opinion helps...it needs a whole new paint job...so maybe i'll nix the f buttons and rec and vol outlines....i love the color but it looks so funked close up,,its because im using a translucent paint..

so yeah,,next time u guys see it,it will be totaly different....still using blue and grey "i think"...

well back to the drawing board..i need a 10/10

ur starting all over? if u are, i think u should just do one plain color like ur 2kxl

ok so i started over because there was cracking in the paint..and i noticed a few nicks and scratches on the original paint that showed through,so..i took it down to bare metal and started over..heres what im looking at now,,,one straight color..i think u will like..




and then a couple coats of "baby skylawn"
its a color i made with baby blue,sky blue and a drop of emerald green..it came out a rather nice color..

i'll take pics with my new camera later,,as soon as i figure out how to use it.lol

i think you should make the all the buttons black except for the shift buttons, open window button and rec/over dub buttons
