My 2kXL is gone, now what do I do -1000, MPD, other or 2500?

eeeeee.... akai's mpd series aren't so bad. I've worked on m-audio trigger finger, akai mpd24 and korg Padkontroler. The korg is the best, than the mpd and the worst is trigger finger and this pads they use in axiom series. Ofcourse the mpc pads are the best (not the 1000 pads. I mean pads from 2000, 2500 or 3000 <- They are the same) but on the pad kontrolers you have the same feeling like on the mpc.

i dont find that the new mpd's are like the 2000 and 3000... I find them more like the 5000 and 2500.

but it doesn't really matter. The axiom series pads are not the greatest but they work nicely (they are similar in hardness to the mpd16, but on the axiom it feels more like a round sensor with a square pad on top because the pads go in on the corners a bit easier)

so far.. 2000xl pads are my favourite but I am looking forward to trying the maschine to see if their hardware controller can compete.

I've wrote that the mpc pads from the 2000 oraz 3000 are better than the mpd pads...
