"removing voice from a sample"

Yo! I 've heard that it is impossible to remove a voice from a sample completely without spoiling the sample but I'd like to try. Once I've somehow wrongly plugged headphones to my mp3 player and there was music without voice in songs that contained voice and the music wasn't bad quality so I think you can do it... Do you know any methods of removing voice from samples?? maybe there is some software??help !!PEACE!

is there a vocal remover in the jjos?

In the JJ OS 1 (4.79 - I think!) that I have, there exists the ability to perform a "Vocal Cut" in Trim Mode. It doesn't completely remove vocals from the sample, as I can still hear them during playback.

Sometimes, depending on the type of recording - particularly non-stereo recordings - you can record into your MPC (using 2 audio inputs) and choose to only record either the right or left input. Sometimes this cuts out certain parts of the sample, helping to achieve the desired filter......

Play around with your MPC and the samples you're recording and sometimes it works.

In Trim-Mode go to Edit -> Stereo L-R => Mono that should do the trick i think.

If you're lucky you can get rid of Drums or Bass, too. Everything thats in the Center of the Stereo-Panorama will be cancelled.
But this only works with newer Pop-Productions!
