Conecting mpc1000 to macbook

Ok, Jus wana say thanks to everyone who helped me on my getting started thread


Just want to be able to drag and drop some samples from my macbook to the mpc1000,

I hooked up the mpc1000 via the usb cable, But My macbook is not reconizing it (sorry for the spelling, I write it how i think it sounds lol)

Any help in this field would be bless,

Jus to state, Im not trying to sync to a daw or anything like that (although thats in the pipe line) Im just tryna drag and drop sounds, If I can

do you have a compact flash card in the mpc?

Yep, I have a compact flash, Its a 512mb Integral card

try restarting the lappy with the usb pluggedin, and the mpc powered on.



if this does not work, possibly try hooking it up to a different usb port.



also try a different usb cable, the current one could be defective.


if it is on a usb hub, try connecting the mpc directly

Still no joy, I changed cable, and I switched usb port, reset macbook,

Maybe I need to set the Mpc up?

Ive figured this out now,

All I had to do, was mode, pad2 (load screen) And enable Usb

Sorted!!!
