PONG ISN'T EVEN IN XL!

Well apparently the OS file size limit is around 5 meg, so Pong isn't taking up "valuable space" as you put it. Can I request that JJ puts it back into XL for the 2500?

all i'm saying is that i paid for a Music Production Center OS to do MUSIC PRODUCTIONS, not a cheezy 1970's video game! and the amount of space pong takes up could definitely and i mean DEFINITELY be used for at least one of many feature requests... i have n original atari i could sell you if pong means that much to you lol. i c a lot of hostility on this forum with "know it alls" ... tell you what since your more interested in games then actually making music... i'll trade you this 1k i got for your 2500 you can play pong all day long homie...i'll be making that ill shit. real talk. take it easy...

If you don't like the JJ os then you can always go back to the Akai one, or alternatively learn how to program the os yourself so you can remove the pong game.

if i didn't like the jjos2xl i wouldn't let my 2000xl collect dust now would i? but anything has room for improvement including your smart ass attitude lol. i've had a few of jjs updates and he seems to address common criticism and thats all im providing. not hatin jus providing my opinion. talk is cheap. wisdom is power you **** so instead of getting off topic why don't you just post something useful instead of starting ridiculous arguments on internet forums...

For starters, you come into this forum shouting about what you want to happen with the OS. It comes across like you're demanding what should happen next with the potential updates. For example...

JAY LIFT wrote:FIRST OFF, GET RID OF APPREGIATOR FUNCTION. ITS TOO SIMPLEMINDED.

SECOND OFF, GET RID OF THE PONG GAME...WASTE OF VALUABLE SPACE.

Your list of demands goes on and on... not exactly "common critisism" as you put it. ???

I THINK JJOS 2XL SHOULD HAVE THIS DONE TO IT

if your gonna quote me don't leave shit out to try and look right...

since you over-think my every word i'll help you out and clear up perceptions...no...better yet...i've had it with you...

your an idiot stop arguing your a moron. you jus find any reason to flip somthin i said into some stupid point that has nothing to do with anything this forum topic is meant for. scrub. you have no real point and your mad cause i corrected you so shut the **** up. if i was "demanding" i wouldn't have started out saying i THINK... i would have said i demand you fool. like i said talk is cheap chump save that bullshit for the few friends you have in this world seriously lol. you prolly overthink the process of making music rather than jus feeling it lol so overthink this post that took me 2 minutes to write i'm sure you have nothing else to do...well nothing important...n i'll let you have the last word cause you "know it alls" heads explode if you don't...BOOM! peace

Some nice features I'd like.

Tempo for the (synced) delay effect follows tempo from midiclock when MPC is in slave mode.

Possibility to go in and out of overdub AND change pattern without having to stop in between, great for live improvisations.

TR808-style programming.

It would be great if the UNDO SEQ-button also worked on AUDIO TRACK. It's kinda slow pressing WINDOW and DELETE when you're getting your groove on with an external instrument.

Does it not? That just seems strange!

Agreed. Would be nice to jump in and out of edit mode while playing to give real time variation of tracks by manual editing/playing during a show.

A little feature request, by default I'd like to have the program ADSR release set to 0 (instead of 20).

simple request for os 2:

in the NEXT SEQ page - the currently active sequence should be given a solid black border around it (similar to the currently active track in the TRACK MUTE page).

i would like to see the "2nd sequence" parameter saved for each sequence.

the 2nd sequence function is really great for making polyrhythmic sequences because the 2nd sequence can be a different length than the main sequence. the problem is that i don't always want the same 2nd sequence playing when i select a different main sequence. i know it sounds confusing....

example:

- i have 4 sequences named Sequence1, Sequence2, Sequence3, and Sequence4.
- i want to assign Sequence3 as the "2nd Sequence" of Sequence1, and assign Sequence4 as the "2nd Sequence" of Sequence2.
- when i switch between Sequence1 and Sequence2, the "2nd Sequence" changes with it.

currently the 2nd Sequence is saved as a global setting, so it will be the same regardless of what main sequence is selected.
