OS2 95% of my time, OS1 4.9% of my time, OSXL 0.01% of my time.

OS2 for industrious stability, and free creativity without momentary losses of recordability or other bug related misery,

OS1 for double filter, 4way layers, and a surprising amount of OS2 feature sharing.

OSXL to see whats new or not as the case may be.

vastly over simplified viewpoints as required due to nonsense vote parameters.

I just edited the original post to add that. But unfortunately it reset all the votes.
Sorry guys, vote again.

Thanks for the option, but i dont switch anymore. I settled on OS2

Why? Stability, the handling of the qlinks, simult pad and i prefer its chopping screen.

sticking with OS2 for pattern, there's things i like in XL but they should be additions to where OS2 left off. XL should be an upgrade not a downgrade.

Well I basically renounced 2XL a few months ago, but I do keep coming back to those new features and second filter.

Then I get screwed over by the awful faux-simult pad, and vow to stay away from XL. Vicious cycle. (OS2 is my answer.)

bought os2xl. tried it for a few weeks and couldn't stand it.
i'd like to learn how to use it for the sake of staying updated,
but i'm just so much more functional with os2.
eventually i'll give os2xl another shot (especially with updates)

Can I ask what's your specific beef? I'm getting paranoid that some people are hating on XL like it's the thing to do

i dont really have a beef with it. i really think i've just gotten too comfortable with os2. 2xl seems like a great tool if given time and learned. I really hadnt noticed so many people were having trouble with it. out of the loop on the chatter i guess. But like i said, i will give it another shot eventually, i just get things done so much quicker and effectively in os2. plus i still have plenty to learn about os2

If i had seen os2xl before os2, the situation would probably be the same, just switched around. who knows

I'm debating on making the whole 3-step upgrade. I've searched. Read & read, but haven't found my two questions answered:

1) Is it really true that auto-chromatic assignment is removed from OS2 1.22?
2) Is there a difference in editing-implementation between the "Pad Sensitivity Adjustment" between OS 1.22 and OS2XL 1.14?

I swear, I searched. I've probably read at least 10 threads and over 50 posts. Thanks(!)
