This makes my second ASR-X (black). I sold the first one years ago for because Emu bought out Ensoniq and the MP-7 came out. Just got the second one in January. Loving it. Still got the MP-7 and the ASR-X. I won't let either of them go again. There is no more Ensoniq, and Emu is not making hardware units anymore. Think about it if you've got a MoPhatt, Proteus 2000, MP-7, Xtreme Lead etc. I'm looking for Ensoniq's ZR-76 or MR.

I was working on the X.
Then all of a sudden, the thing crashed on me.
I was reminded of why I sold my first one.
Too many head aches.
I sold it to my buddy, who now has 5 asr-x's.

I needed the money also.


Now I am simply just using ableton live, and some midi controllers

The tape echo effect is good for kicks..you just have to reduce delay 1 from 400ms to 1-2 ms.

Parametric EQ (fat bass)+ Tape echo and the compressor on there make shit bang
