Any reasons why THIS card reader should not work?

Yeah the title pretty much says it all. And by "THIS" i mean this one: http://www.tocab.de/product_info.php?info=p3096_Card-Reader-3-5--Compact-Flash-Card-an-IDE-Controller--schwarz--Delock-91636.html

Seems to be quite the same like the addonics which is proven to work by folks on this forum (http://www.provantage.com/addonics-adidecfb~7ADDO18R.htm)

lesson learned: google or try to contact any unknown shops BEFORE sending the money -.-

I think there will be no way to know if it will work until you (or someone) tries one. It all depends upon the firmware in the card reader and that is hard to tell anything about just by looking at a picture of the unit.

Mh well..
I took a very close look at the picture and suddenly could make out,very pixeled, the word "addonics" on the board. Just at the position where you put the card in.



So i hope that its maybe the same model only in a different case.
Ordered one and will try it.

Or can i damage something if this model isn't compatible?

That's good - Addonics are usually compatible.
