I have a black 1K pushin OS2 and I've been having all kinds of problems and cannot connect the "why" to anything. Sometimes it'll delete whole programs, but the program will still show up in the directory, or when I go to load a seaquence or program, or sampl... whatever, it'll flash me the "NO FILE FOUND" or "WRONG FILE" business. Just today it changed a buck of the samples names in this one progam into alien code or chinese or somethin, then when I went back to main, it randomly filled the whole window up with comp. code, and said something up at the top.. I dont know some warning or somethin. Oh and also it decided to stop playing a bunch of sounds out several seaquences, but all the Pgms are intact and playable on the corresponding pads, HELP HELP HELP over the past couple months Ive spent DAYS & DAYS playin catch up.. and this shits startin to take its toll.

Is it the OS the card (of which I've gone through several thinking it was them causing the problm) I'm using 2G SansDisk,

It'll goes days without a problem, then SMACK like like a snare to the face.

I'd love to get this figured out...PEACE.

yeah for sure I have my data backed up on the laptop. I've tried formatting the different CF cards again & again, and thats never worked. As far as loading up the JJ I'm sorry but I have to question if that would help I mean, if its not running efficiently with the OS that akai designed, what difference is a second party OS gonna make. unless maybe the OS has quit running properly, could this be, does the akai OS just start buggin out.
