hey do any of ya'll know what the rza uses to dirty up his drums? or used to anyway. i used to know some kin of pre amp, or somethin but i can't for the life of me remember.

think he used an asr-10 back in the day....

remember his stuff is mastered...wont achieve the exact sound just his 'original' sound...

the Sansamp psa-1, I believe....its a guitar preamp....said it on MTV cribs 2001.......No wonder "PRO"'s don't discuss production techniques. LOL :lol:

sh!t if thats what it is u could probabaly use any distortion amp set the level to low and bring out that crust in the vinyl.

hell yeah man it was the sansamp! on mtv a long long time ago it showed wu tang all livin 2 some house and rza was talkin bout how he gets his beats all grimey, and then he talked bout the sansamp. that is it. thanks man! props.
