Sounds like you need to study up on using LFO's....

most people use square or pulse type waves.

but whatever, just mess around to get the sound you want. ...as for the wobble:

the LFO has to modulate the amplitude, (how loud or soft the sound is heard)
it is usually in 'sync' with the current bpm.

you can do it manually and record a performance by assigning it to a q-link slider or knob on the q-link page to make it easier to change.
...mainly you'd go from like 1/8th note to like 1/4 note to 1/16 note or something.

that's all that's happening, the mpc is turning the volume of the sound up and down in sync with the bpm, or not in sync, if you choose turn that part off, you can do it by ear alone, and still assign it to a q-link and control it via a fader or something.

its really a simple idea. ...just takes a little work to find the sound that works best for you.

Can the 5000 synth do that type of routing? You guys should make a youtube tutorial...and add it to the synth thread above.

*routing?*

are you talking about assigning the q-link faders/knobs? ...you simply go to the q-link page, pad 9 i think?

or are you talking about assigning the LFO to amplitude?

that would simply be on the modulation/lfo page of the internal synth.

this is EXTREMELY simple, ...what routing are you talking about?

also, the whole point of having q-links is being able to record their movement, ...so that's not a problem either, ....so what seems to be the mis-conception?

Start with a regular Sine wave to get that hollow sound. You could really playaround with all of them. I have found that the sine maintains its low end best in this formula. Set the Lfo to ^ pattern to trigger the filter. Set the amount and rate to desired taste and tweak away. Change detune range on the on the oscillator to get extra grimey.

For wobble you have to trigger the Filter Freq via LFO.

So take a sinewave in the synth section, enable the LFO to sync to 1/8 for example, then turn up the LFO-->Filter knob
