Does anyone know which version of JJ OS has real-time quantization for the 2500? I am referring to when the tap tempo button is held and the quantization notes appear above the "F" buttons.

All JJ OS versions show the quantize values while holding tap tempo

My mpc 2500 does not do it when i hold tap tempo is there an explanation for that?

It will do it when you hold Note Repeat. On the 1k the buttons are shared and it's actually a function of Note Repeat, not of Tap Tempo.
