To replace same files or not to..?

when should i replace same files? when should i not? i added a new kit and im trying to SAVE ALL PROGRAMS & SAMPLES in my kit folder..should i replace same files or not???

I always replace same files. This way you will have the newest of the parameter settings...like your start/end points of a sample for instance. Or the newest version of the program with the same name...(i.e. program 1 with all the changes and fine tuning you just did replacing program 1 as it was when you loaded it.)
