Does the MPC 500 use the same CPU and audio processor as the MPC 1000/2500

My wall clock has a better processor than the mpc 500.AND IT DOESNT FREEZE all on on battery

AM strictly 2500 have been for four month 64hz I had my mpc 500 just b4 christmas and found it limited(i only had 16mb).DIDNT MAKE ANY BEATS ON IT AHAHAHA JUST SCHOOLED ME TIMING.IN THE RITE HANDS A 500 is awesome init

Hehe, I can imagine if you have a 2500 it feels limited, for me it is a nice addition to my 60 + that I am able to take it with me without a lot of hassle makes the unit for me

^^^^^^ I spent many hours at work trying my best to get my timing acceptable so if u look at it like that ITS BEEN INVALUBLE TO ME.Some people on this forum work the balls of them and i respect them cats.peace dude

I seem to remember that JJ sounded pretty specific about having no intention of doing one.
Although of course his english isn't very good. The definitiveness may have been mistransalated I guess.

Just curious, why dose JJ have to do it? Why can't some other mad scientist programmer grab the ball on the 500?
