Really Nice MPC stand

Today I just received my MP1k....I also had a Rain Mstand fir my macbook pro. But I was like....let's put the 1k on that Mstand...and it works, looks and plays great....I get the mstand last year for just 45 euro....It really fits perfect and everything seems to be stable

does it flex or bounce when you tap the pads?

a little , but not that much. I dont have any problems with it....the stand is build well

i bet you could glue something in there for support to keep it from flexing pretty easy.

cheap. lightweight. can pick one up at pretty much any computer or office-supply store. plus it rotates on its base which is handy. doesn't shake or bounce too much when you bang on the pads.

definitely not as nice looking as that Rain stand, tho.

I picked up a simliar stand at CompUSA's going out of business sale awhile back. It really helps during long sessions and while I still want a 2500 for the flip screen, I like working on the 1000 with the whole thing tilted!

I also just realized that dj's who use a 1000 in their live setup can use an Odyssey L Stand and mount that to their coffin/table....cool stuff!

Any body use a floor stand for their MPC 1000?? I was thinking of either a snare stand or the mix400. The mix400 has a adjustible top and wheels on the bottom. Any suggestions

I would think the MIX stand would work better than a snare stand...I can't imagine the mpc being very sturdy in a 3 armed snare stand at all...

Maybe you could find something similiar to the stands made for the 4000, but are adjustable?

I'm using the 4 wedge adjusters that came with my mopads to raise the mpc. Cuts down on vibrations too!

sometimes i use a stand which came with a cheapo electronic drum kit thing, it's like a snare drum stand but is shaped like a 'H' on top and swivels..
fits perfect w/25k and is sturdier than j lo's ass. that paints a mad picture for me lol..
i wish i had an ass like dat i could sit my weapons of choice on.
i'll have a look for model etc.
