Everywhere I look I see MPC 4000 is there something wrong with me...I have pushed my MPC 60 as far as it will go...Everything that I would like to do requires me to either by a seperate rackmount sampler to use with my MPC 60 because of it's limited sample time and lack of filters...At first I was going to by an Akai S5000 then after thinking about it I figured that although It would make for a great setup with tons of potential and quite abit less than a MPC 4000 I would be using two samplers...The more I think about it the more I want a MPC 4000...Huge hard drive tons of memory, filters and effects built in what more could a samplist want.I am however not willing to pay $2300 for an LE model or $2800 for the version with the CD burner and hard drive what am I to do.Does anybody know of any place where I can get one used for between $1600-$1900.I would go the ebay route but I am very wary of buying things that expensive over the internet from somebody I have never had contact with. There are some great deals as I type this on there but these cats have like almost 0 feedback.Does anybody know where I can get an MPC 4000 from a reputable dealer for the kind of jack I have to spend? As it stands now I have about 600 disk full of music and sounds that I can't even begin to keep in any sort of order.Lets see each MPC 60 disk holds about 13 seconds of samples muliply that by 600 and thats 130 minutes worth of samples the MPC 4000 can store that times a 1000 on it's hard drive. Please help me!!!
