help with saving seq and sounds

Is it possible to save a sequence on one disk and the program used to make that sequence on seperate disks,then turn off mpc and reload sequence and have it ask for the disk with the program used to make that sequence? MPC2000XL w/ zip

Try it and see what happens?

I think the MPC won't ask for anything - I'm guessing that it's not as clever as that.
