Repairing Tact Switches

I am ready to switch out two of my tact switches on my MPC 1000, but I was wondering how do I Unsolder the current tact switch? I have my soldering iron and replacement tact switch and everything ready to go, but I am confused at what I am supposed to do. I have been watching videos and reading explaination, but most of them are on computer board parts. I would really like to know something more specific to the MPC. Can somebody who has done this before help me out? Some tips, instructions or advice? Thanks

and this stuff sometimes comes in useful but with through-hole stuff you should be OK with just the sucker.
