Hey everyone how's it going? Yeah over the weekend I completed four full songs and now I'm ready to record them. In case people don't know I use Audacity ( very useful program, I might add) to chop my samples.

I don't have an audio interface, but is it possible to record my song with Audacity? And if it is what are the steps to do this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

sure you can...is your mp hooked directly to your comp...if so then hit record in audacity and "play start" on ur mp..and there you go....just make sure that audacity is set to "what you hear" and not "line in mic in"..
then just adjust the volume on your mp so that its stabilized in audacity..

Yeah I just realized that I do need an audio interface, does anyone happen to know good (and cheap) ones? Thanks.

i use a creative soundblaster 24 bit live soundcard and it works pretty good and was like 50bux.
