how often does your cf card get corrupted? i was trying to usb a wav file from my pc to my mpc. it shows it transferring over but when i go to load the file, it's not there. i try again and the pc askes if i want to overwrite it so it's somewhere on the memory card but not showing up in the load list.
i saved a backup of the cf card, reformatted it, and tried again. some of the previous wav files i usb'd over showed up but not all and i still can't transfer files over from the pc. (well, i can but they don't show up anywhere where i can load them) i still have free space on the card and in the mpc. i tried using another memory card and that doesn't seem to help either.
the funny thing about this is before all this happened, usb'd over maybe 100 files of various kicks, snares, etc... and transfering worked fine. could one of those files corrupt the whole card?

any help is appreciated
