I had this hassle when I first started learning the MPC.

The Save entire memory option is the only way to go.

Run a few tests to make sure you have the process down before working on your next beat.

if you save the entire memory and this problem happens you can then just load the entire folder and it will load all of the sounds for you, instead of loading each sound individually.

hi all thanks for your replies.

so i save my beats always into new separate folders.

then i open th folder and click the PJT file i think. (well the project file)

and all that loads are some of my drums but not all, so maybe 1 kick a few snares but never loads my cut samples.

so you say i have to load the whole folder rather than just project file???

I had this problem for awhile. You're probably gonna want to backup your hard drivr and reformat it on the mpc. I'm not sure if this will fix it but, this used to happen to me. only sometimes, though. Like a chunk of like a months worth of folders would load all **** up when loading the project file.

Try just highlighting the folder and pressing load. That works for me, or, if u got sounds loaded, load the project file first then the whole folder. (loading a project file replaces all the samples and programs while loading a whole folder adds to whats in the machine's ram until there's insufficient memory). Or just have a blank program file ready that you load to clear the memory before you load folders.

Hi,
I have doubt about the project files, when I save the entire memory I don't see any of the new sequences in the folder, but if I load the prj file the sequences are there.

So how this works, isn't this just suppose to save the whole thing to the folder or the sequences are saved all together in the prj file?

dude the fail safe is to make a new folder and save each seq and each pgm with samples into it. then when you l0oad just highlight the folder and load. everything in it will load and play just like you saved it. i work with too many pgms loaded to save entire mem each time so this is how i do it and i never have a single problem.
