greetings fellow MPC-ists!!

...long time 3000 owner here.

I confess in the past couple of years I've been seduced by the trappings of the 'dark-side' (ie:in the box beat-making)..but i dusted off the old girl the other day...and just fell in love, all over...vowed to her i'd never mess with those cheap bitches again..

Anyway...anyone got any experience with this collection:

http://www.deluxonic.com/deluxonic/beat-roots.html

Looks like a very cool collection-breaks and drum machines (a whoooole heap!!)..very reasonable to.

think ima cop one-for the price can't really go too wrong-but just wanted to hear from anyone who's got it..

any one?

Cheers,

KD

Yo this looks like a tight collection, and dirt cheap too... I can't help but think its a scam? Most of these type of things are like $30-$50US... but yo i'll probably try it its not much to lose if its not legit. Free postage worldwide? Really?? I'm skeptical but for the price its worth a gamble.

Might hold out and see if anybody has actually copped it first

Yeah I'm kinda doing the same cam..lol !!

IMO I can't imagine its a straight scam-(surely there's gotta be an easier way to scam more from joe public !!)-but would be nice just to hear something..anything..from someone...

..anyone?

If it is a scam, dude sure is real courteous about it!
This is the message I received:

"Thanks very much for your purchase of 'beat-roots & beyond'.
We appreciate and value your custom, and are confident you will be satisfied with this unique collection.
You'll be notified when it ships.Whilst this is,in most cases within 24 hrs, unfortuately its a bank-Holiday weekend here in the U.K so the Post offices won't now be open till Tues, but it will ship first thing then.
Your sample pack is guaranteed against loss, damage or file corruption-so you have nothing to worry about.
In the unlikely event of a confirmed problem a replacement pack will be shipped out immediately.
If you have any questions in the mean time please do not hesitate to contact us.
Many thanks,"

I live in the UK...in a city called Bradford...so I cant be that far from the dudes really.

It sounded good to me...only found like one or two breaks that werent excellent quality and even then they were probably still usable, the drum machine stuff sounded good too...havent been through it completely but I know some cats on here have crazy ears so I wanna see what others say bout this too.

Its nt much £££ though I think its a bargain to be honest.

Well, I got mine Sat-but just had a chance to go through it last night and..VERY impressed !

Wasn't expecting too much to be honest, but I gotta say-probably the best £7.50 I've spent.

Quality samples-both breaks and drum machines..and woooah...nuff to keep me busy for..er ..ever..!

From what I've listened to-all the breaks sounded very usable, some had obvious vinyl 'crackles n pops',some v clean,-but nothing that couldn't be put to use..and nothing which sounded like it was sourced from mp3.All the classics..some s-i-c-k breaks that I've never heard...a few I had but didn't know what they were..and I've never seen that amount in one place!!

The drum machines, sound equally as good-(again from what I've heard so far). The older machines obviously sounded a little more noisy and the newer ones in general cleaner-but I guess to be expected.Again-all very usable, punchy, full frequency and good range of variation-esp on the better known units.

Real 'No-frills' packing!-2 DVD's in plain sleeves-but what makes it so cheap I guess.

Highly recommended...even at triple the price...!!
