I recently got an mpc 2500.

Now,i play some pads, but there seems to be a mute group switched onto every sample i am using.

For example,i make a Drum loop,bd,snare,hats,etc etc.(bank A)
i go and try to put in my bass hits, but when i hit the bass hits (bank B by the way) the bass hits start muting the drum hits back over on bank A!?

i checked to see if there are any mute groups initiated, but alas, nothing!

i just want to play all my samples, drums and bass all at once and not have one sample jumping on top of another, its driving me crazy.

No explanation for it in the manual,as it seems to be a function by default.

weird.

You have no idea how much I really wanna say RTFM because the answer is in there, but I won't. Consider this your lucky day punk!

Mode Pad 7 to enter the program screen. Go into the params screen where the mute groups are and at the top right, the is an option for Mono or Poly. Set this to Poly. This option set to mono makes it so every pad will cut each other off.
