Tracks Unmuting by themselves

Just now I was making a beat and all of the sudden while I was making it my tracks started unmuting by themselves. I am running JJ OS 3.09 on a 2500. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

top right corner of the track mute screen turn "use events" off.

"use events off" is not in the track mute screen on my version. When pressing window in the main screen with the mute parameter highlighted i get a "use track events" and switch it to off but the problem presists. its not doing it for any other sequences on the card though. just the one i am working on right now. any ideas?

if you have it set to off. then maybe try pushing the main button a couple times to store it. save the file again. then restart the mpc and reload it. its weird that it keeps doing it after you turn events off cause that exactly what that feature is.

have a look in step edit and check to see if there are any 'track mute' commands (or whatever they're called) in there.

oh yea i forgot you can go to erase and clear the mute events.

hey thanks guys it was the step edit but i didnt do anything in that screen set idea why it randomly did that.

You probably hit record in the track mute screen and thus recorded some track mutes.
