Pad Default Assignation is insane

I was trying to transfer sequences from my computer to the 500.
each sequence was chopped off in Recycle, exporting the midi file that goes with it.
the problem is the following:
the default assignation for pad is not logical at all, it is the following, the note from left to right are the pads, going from a1 to d12, you can see the corresponding notes on the left side



If i change it now all my old sequence won't work, which mean i need to edit every single new midi seqence so it matches.
i'm not even sure this will work.

Has anyone tried that or had a similar problem?
If anyone used recycle and does the same thing, did they ever get the midi file to work in the mpc the way they should?
Is this default assignation normal or is different according to the os?
Anyone has a clue regarding the reason for such a nonsens?

Always check/ adjust the midi note assignment in your program menu.

When u sequence external sound sources make sure u set the note assign in the midi/sync menu

the reason is to match with the general midi (GM) drum mapping which also makes no sense at all.. if you look at the button labels on the mpc60 (kick, snare etc) it will all make sense
