who uses the NV slider?

any of you use this thing often or what???? Theres something wrong with my nv slider. I just noticed that it doesnt work properly unless I push the **** fader to its left(need pressure on that site). Is there anything Im missing by not using this thing? I mean I thought about opening it up just now but Im just too tired from work.......

I've only had my 2K a couple of months so i'm no expert but,i hardly ever use it.When i shift+nv i just set the tuning there with the dial.Maybe that's wrong but it gets the job done.....Peace.

I use it loads for quirky note changes on samples. usually each chord will be slightly different, just like messing around with a midi I guess jus' bangin' the keys. Sounds like it's broke though if your having to push it to the left tho...

theres diff shit u can do with it. You can play samples expressively wiht it on, u can set it to after then decay to make a hat pattern switch up like with mutes and ish. U can filter with it. all kinds of good ish. the after button above it means that instead of it controling sounds when u hit the pad u can use it for all ready sequenced tracks.

the reason why I dont use it is because it seems like there is something wrong with my nv slider. It would randomly change while its supposed to go up when I up it and down when I do that but it does some weird shit. Must be the **** fader. It doesnt even resond most of the time. There must be some wrong with it coz I try using it to move the start and end point when youre in trim mode but when I click shift and about to move the slider it just randomly moves . I ll try opening it today and see whats up1

THAT IS TOO FUKIN' CRAZY CAUSE MY SH*T DOES THE EXACT SAME THING. I have to push it hard and to the right in order for it to function. The reason the sounds change up and down by themselves is because you have to push it hard, if you don't, it will play the sound at the lowest point; as if the slider is all the way down. However, I can't live without that slider; especially when working with samples. If you log onto my page and listen to "Jazzy Nights", you'll notice the different ways i f*cked with the Eddie Kendricks sample.
