can't figure out how to put decay, attack etc. on the slider

i have jj os 4.99

i want to put adjustments on drum samples such as decay, attack, etc.

then use the slider to effect them while i'm recording hats, snares, kicks, etc.

how do i do it i looked at the online manual and i'm not seeing how or i'm reading it wrong or sumthin

ok i dnt know bout setting attack and decay on da slider but u can layer ur samples.1 with out 2 with some attack and decay and 3 with more of it. den in dat window all the way to da rite u will seee a range 0 - 127 this means how hard u gotta hit it to play dat sample.ex: 1 snare no decay 81-127 2: with decay 60 - 80 3: with more decay 0-59. note that all these samples are layerd on da same pad. n another thing this is jus an example. experiment. oh and the slider is the same way. best thing to do is stop the run around n buy the mpc 1000 book.

What MPC are you using? In the 2500 manual it's shown how to do this in Chapter 9.
