Monitors/MPC/ to Mackie Onyx

I need to know if i got this all right...

For my line level MPC, I use a 1/4 Dual to 1/4 Dual balanced cable to go from my MPC's outputs to the Onyx's Inserts.

If I dont have all this correct, can someone help me out.

Ok, two things:

- Why do you think you have to plug your MPC to the Inserts? "Inserts" are for putting external effects etc. into the signal loop, so usually not the right place to plug your MPC into (esp. not the output of it...). Read the manual of your Satellite, and then use the correct Inputs.

- What kind of MPC do you have? Because you don't need to use balanced cables if your MPCs outs are not balanced.
