Has anyone purchased the pad upgrade and have it turn out to be faulty? Has anyone heard of this? I think my bro got a faulty pad set from MPCstuff, its installed right and everything but you still have to pound the pads to navigate menus or get sound. The sensitivity is at max too.

I think some of the people may be stressing the sensitivity issue, because there are a few parameters that affect sensitivity such as "pad on level" and the actual sensitivity adjustment. Pad on level is straight forward. The pad sensitivity is adjusted by getting the cursor to the number field at the top of the screen and adjust the pad sensitivity for each pad or pressing the "ALL" button to have them all change simultaneously.

it wasnt the pad sensitivity, its just the OS, with the AKAI OS the pads work great, with every other JJOS besides os1 the pads work great - and the sensitivity adjusts accordingly. (i know how to adjust sensitivity but thanks)

the funny thing is - ever since the pad install the full level button is broken, no LED nothing. i guess my bro will have to replace his pcb

Alright, just wanted to make sure. Especially since I use OS1, have the pad fix, also did the silicone treatment on the pads, and I'm very happy with sensitivity and responsiveness.
