The whiz kid.

MPC500
The on-the-go creative type.

MPC2500
The platinum hit producer.

MPC5000
The Don.

HAHAHAHA  ^^^^

They're clearly paying their marketing people too much money. How may platinum hits were made on a 2500?

well at least the models that the current akai actually made...

It would be neat if they made a 3000LE-MK2 ... I know they wont, but it would be awesome.

People are talking that MPCs are heading bad direction and it lost something. I must agree with them after playing around with few models. IMO new MPC serie sucks. Haven't tried MPC5000 tho. I don't expect much from their synthesizer, but it could be nice to try it. MPC5000 is a big question mark for me.

The only newest Nukai product I bought was the MPK-49 last year. Kinda pricey and the 12 pads I'll probably never use (got my trusty 2KXL and MV8K for that) but it is workable and usable in my gear set up for use with Logic and synths.

Look if you can make beats, it doesn't matter which mpc see you have, its all a matter of work flow, sure the 2500 sounds different than a 60, but if you know what your doing u can get that sound, and the 4000 is slept because of the way the o.s. is other than that, get a jjos and 1000, if you cant make hot ****, then dont waste money on something else, the equipment doesn't do it for you, a lot people hate on the new mpc's or argue whats better i just think thats a waste of time
