Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Have any of you guys read this? It's advertised in a sticky at the top of this forum. It seems like a helpful guide (since the manual isn't very clear about some things) but I can't get over how high the price is. 24 pounds seems pretty ludicrous. I'm curious if anyone can provide some information on this or if there's any way to find it or something like this for cheaper.

That comes out to about $38.00 USD. You think that is ludicrous for a book that takes you step-by-step through most of the functions of the MPC and shares some great tips and secrets? Do you know what it would cost to have a person train you for such things? Much more than that for just one hour of their time - with the book, you can come back to it over and over and keep learning things.

There is a lot of effort in getting all that info together in one place and presenting it like that. Personally, I find that price to be more than fair.

or just read the manual over and over until it starts to sink inthe XL is a simple machine now if they had one for the 4k I wold have bought it faster than fast. But there is a good reason why they dont have one for the 4000......

4000 is a DOPE machine! You can do a lot on that...I mean it's basicaly a a Z8 with a super duper advanced MPC sequencer on top...which is what I always dreamed the MPC to be

Yeah the 2000XL is easy to get to grips with, just give it some time and read the manual over and over lol
What are you trying to do? May be post some questions on this forum if you don't want to buy thr book.

If you got money to buy the 2KXL, then you got money to buy the tutorial. Stop being cheap and go ahead and just pay for it.
It's very informative and also comes with some samples.

An ebook costing more than what a real book would cost, when there are no printing or distribution costs or a publisher to ensure quality?? I downloaded a 2000XL video tutorial off a torrent site (the one from samplekings.com) and the quality is pretty poor. I would be pissed if I had paid for that. I created this post to see if someone who got the book can comment on it. I'll probably end up buying it anyway.

Honestly...I bought the e-book and I've learned a ton of things. I wasn't even using the MPC to it's full capacity, because I didn't fully understand somethings. It's a good buy, you could spend the 38 on some bull**** or you could spend the 38 and gain some knowledge.

It never hurts to spend money to be educated.

I remember seeing an e-book on ebay (don`t remember the author) in wich "the resampling on the mpc 2000" was explained
I wrote them that it ain`t possible, only on the 2000 xl......but they didn`t changed it.......that is poor!
