Mpc 1000 compared to the mpc 2500 ?

Im thinking of picking up a Mpc 1000 for $600 but im not sure if I sould wait and save up more money and get a Mpc 2500 . I have never used a MPC before but I want to learn. What one should I go for ?

I'd say go for the twenty five hundred mate.The flip screen is a godsend during long sessions.I started off on a 500 and whilst superb gave me a aching neck all the time !!!!!!!!

Agreed - if you can go for the 2500. I went from a 1000 to 500, found that the portability involved too much trade off and went to a 2500.

i have not used the 2500 but i am using the 1000.

its my 1st and its great to learn on. infact the thing is a mean bit of kit... can through it in my laptop bag round to a m8s studio plug and play. simples.

also i do think it would be great to have that tilt screen but like i say work with what you got.

i mounted my 1000 onto a unit i built myself so its at a slight tilt and its great.

but again i can only speak for the 1000 as i have never used the 2500
