There's quite a few samples on ONE's album that I also have, so are you calling him out for being a sample pack user or a fellow digger... or both?

I found myself doing the same thing......spending time on the net downloading free kits and trading with friends. I ended up with 50 GIGS of samples, some of which may be repetitive kits but out of the 50 GIGS there's definitely some good stuff in there,....stuff I don't think I could replace.

What I don't get is how people dont realize that the best drums usually come from the cheapest records . Also people dont realize that buy building your own library , you also build your skills with shaping and choosing sounds .

But do not throw away the sample packs you bought when you were a rookey. You can get some good **** if you tweak the knobs well.

Yeah for sure,....IF IT MAKES SOUND, KEEP IT!! You never know what will inspire you later on.
