Dead pads? But ONLY in TRIM mode???

Hi!
I'm suffering from a really annoying problem.
When I'm in trim mode:
pad 13 loops the sample (not in loop window, in the normal one...)
pad 14 plays a veryvery short piece from the sample, it's almost a noise.

When I set the start and end point to the same value, at the end of the sample, pad 14 plays the WHOLE sample normally, and pad 16 does the same as well...

And the funny thing:

In the main menu all these pads work perfectly with any samples, at any program.

I've tried reset with the erease button, also formatted the cf card, and reinstalled the os (every type I have, akai os 11,12 jjos as well)

So, any idea what could be the problem?

If it's dead pads, why are they working at the main screen, and in the programms?
What the hell is happening in trim mode???

Bro, I dont think you have dead pads. You really just need to revisit the manual again.

Your pads are intended to work in a specific way while in Trim mode for a reason. When you return back to the main screen your accessing sounds from your pads in Program mode essentially. Dont expect them to operate the same because they arent supposed to.

If your simply trying to hear your entire sample while your in Trim mode, just try hitting any other pads aside from the top 4 to audition it. The top 4 are set to specific functions while your in Trim. The MPC is actually labeled as to what those functions are just like a Texas Instruments Calculator right above the buttons/pads....
Pad13 - PLAY LOOP, Pad14 - PLAY TO, Pad15 - PLAY FROM, Pad16 - PLAY ALL....

You need to read up on Trim Mode homie, sounds to me like your MPC is working just fine!

You are so right... I forgot this since I made a optical customization on my MP, and don't see the writings on the panel
