End playback of sample on start of new sequence

Hello,

I have a sequence that is 4 bars long. I have a recorded 4 bar synth loop assigned to a pad and playing along with the sequence. This is fine.

The problem is comes when I try to make a song. I want to use my 4 bar sequence in a few places. Sometimes I want to use only 1 bar. However if I use one bar and then play another sequence the sequence changes but the 4 bar synth loop continues to play it's last 3 bars over the next sequence.

My question: Is there a way to stop the playback of my 4 bar synth loop when I start playing new sequence.

I know of workarounds but I was thinking there must be a function someplace?

Theres a couple ways to fix this:

*You can edit your sample in Trim to fit the bar and end properly, or...
*You can assign that same sample to a mute group with a dummy pad that has nothing on it. When you want the sample that extends into the other sequence to stop - record your dummy note in that place to cut the sample off, or....
*You can convert your song into a sequence and then arm that sequence to allow recordable mutes. Afterward, play your sequence back while recording in the mute screen and mute out that sample when its suppose to leave. (leave time correction off)

One option I forgot to include thats very easy too is to do this:
*Set the pad to Note On and then just re-record the part and only hold out the note where you want it.
