LETS SEE YOUR CUSTOM MPC 1000! AGAIN!

Okay folks! The last custom 1000 thread was going strong for 14 pages and then we got about 7 pages of shenanigans and tom foolery! Because of that, it got locked...so let's keep this one clean and on point!

Say it with me! NO SHENANIGANS! NO TOM FOOLERY! Okay...let's move on!


A few ground rules before you post a picture of yours:

* In Progress pics are encouraged, but know that people may judge your mpc AS IT IS in those pics. If you don't want it to be seen until it's done, then WAIT to post pics.

* DO NOT get mad, upset, angry, annoying, or start throwing chairs if you post pics of your custom mpc and a few people don't like it. Just remember: everyone's got an opinion. YOU decide if it matters or not.


A few ground rules before you post a comment on a custom mpc:

* If you do not like what you see, DO NOT spout off inflammatory, rude, or off-color remarks insulting someone else's project, whether it's complete or not. Don't be a jerk. No one likes jerks. Unless that jerk is Steve Martin.

* DO give kudos to who you think should get them, and zip it if you're going to be a smarty pants. Constructive criticism is a good thing!


Keep in mind that posts not following these simple guidelines will be deleted by our friendly neighborhood moderator, Mr. Lampdog. Now let's see some custom work!

Quick question for those who have done some custom work on theirs:

Has anyone attempted to paint the LCD window?

You'd be able to cover up the writing and change the color, which would be cool but I'm not so sure if paint will stick to this kind of material...Anyone try this?

why dont we just make this a pic only thread right from the start. that way we can "see" some custom mpc's and not just talk about them. and pm me on the lcd window and we can talk about it.

Oh ye of little fatih-- the other thread was going strong until you know who came in and acted like a dope.

We're not expecting people to re-post old pictures, although they can if they like. I'm hoping to see some new 1000's up here as time goes on.

Man! You guys are some whiners! No patience! You guys act like this is the ONLY thread that has the capability to entertain you!

Just so you guys will quit sniveling, I've gotten with Lamp and he's going to clean up all the garbage that was caused on the old thread and re-open it. Yes, this failure of a thread will get deleted as well.

If you guys were so into the first thread, why did you all sit back and wait for it to get locked while Jay messed it up? The entertainment factor? Laziness?

I ain't mad at ya'll but damn you guys surprised me with all this! I am however going to call you all weinee bumpers and then go about my day.
