Ok uploaded it for you... I didn't do this one in the MPC, I did it all in Logic 5 for various reasons no1 beeing that the background noise would be to long and shit to handle in the mpc that and I recorded it all in 24bit 98khz and I couldnt be arsed sample rate convering and dithering it all lol The music box record player was all chopped in re-cycle.
The bass line is recorded from my Roland Alpha Juno 1

and it sounds super clean, i think it wayyyy cleaner than my numark pt -01 hahaha

how did you clean it up so good? you said you didn't sample into the mpc?

Thanks, here is everything:

The music box turntable was sampled with a mic (cant remember what) at 24bit 96Khz > converted to 24bit 44.1khz then re-cycled aka chopped each part and exported as wavs, stuck them into the EXS-24 sampler. Thats it, no eq bugger all.
(I didnt sample the music box)

Drums > Real 808 (Not mine) > into cheap casette tape machine > sampled at 24bit 44.1Khz into DAW, re-cycled and every hit mapped to a key in EXS-24 soft sampler. NO EQ or compression again lol

Bass > Roland Alpha Juno 1 played by me via midi into DAW aka logic 5 then recorded as an audio track...no eq or comp, didnt even go through a mixer just straight into sound card this time (Cheap M-Audio USB thing, horrible)

Outside sounds > some posh mics that I dont own used here lol, i'm dont know shit about mics other than the SM58 and 57 lol

Mastering > none lol

The track was only an idea I had and is still in the first stages...I did this in the summer and I havent touched it since lol

Erm...I've got an XL and it IS 2-part multi-timbral does layer, split and multi. You can copy and paste patches into a timbre, and they're both exactly the same as each other. I like layering a piano sound underneath to give a sound some solidness. But it's multi-timbral, and very useful. I haven't found any bugs/glitches, everything works and the keyboard feels great.

The PCM/DWGSB waveforms are a good reason to choose this over the old one.

Im gonna pick up an XL later this week hopefully.
That was my main beef with the first MicroKorg.
