Yo' Juke, sold the 707 this week, yeah I loved it and it's a classic Chicago beat box but have you seen the mad prices they are selling for?! I sold mine for 300GBP!! bare in mind I only paid 120...for that money I didn't think it was worth hanging about regardles of how much I love it the money can go on more studio gear thats more needed...I sampled the 707 in the 3200XL and MPC 2000XL now
It was the most minty new 707 ever lol look at the pics http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0346017727

I bought both the DJ Coffin (Odyssey) and the record shelf (IKEA Expedit) from a store.
I got the Expedit positioned on it's side and used metal dowel rods for better strength in holding my records.

DAMN! For that price, I don't blame you for selling it.
I lent my 707 to a "friend" back in '97 and supposedly someone broke in his house and only stole my drum machine. :? Bastard!

it doesn't even have an audio out...I generally just mic it, but I'm thinking about adapting it.

from what I know about baldwin organs, they are pre-midi. My grandmother has one which cosmetically is in mint condition... however it needs servicing but it costs too much for it to be worthwhile. They went for about 3 grand back in the 70's... awesome sounding.
