Conecting to mac via digital out

Because the Limited ability of My audio interface (fast track pro), I have to connect My mpc1k to the mac via the digital output, (to record onto an audio track in logic)

Ive connected it up, but theres no sound coming through,

Was just wondering if i had to change settings on my mpc in order to activate the digital out option??

Anyone have any advice??

Go to your M-Audio driver app. you should see coax or spdif or digital somewhere.
