Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I've got a 2kxl with a Microtech SCSI card reader in it. I've organized all my files into folders, however I find, once I start browsing my folders, I can't get back out of the folder I'm in.

For example I might go [Drums]-[Kits]-[Snares]-Snare5. But then when I press the back key, I can only get into [Snares]. It won't let me go back any further. In order to get back to my rout directory, I have to go to my SCSI selector, and select another SCSI device, then go back to the SCSI device I was using.

Has anyone else run into this bug?

So the card reader is basically hanging up at random times? Or is the hangup only occurring when you are navigating folders (not so random)? Do you have an external SCSI drive, like a Zip drive, that you could hook up and test to see if it hangs up as well during the same type of operation?

It's not Hanging per se, I just can't browse backwards through my directories.
I do have some external zip drives somewhere. I'll see if it's the same with those.
