New User problem with sampling and assign to pad

Hi members!!!
I'm a new user of akai mpc 5000. I post here my problem when i sample from lp and i try to assign it a pad i couldn't
coz the mpc says: cannot assingn to synh program

i tryed the procedure with he manual but no result! i'll ask for someone!

And I've bought it 2 days ago, there is someone that with skype or other program could teach me some basic command

i have also msn....make me know

....well, the mpc 5000 got synth programs, and sample programs...

and of course you can't map a sample to a synthprogramm....but you should be able to map a new sample right away after you sampled it, in the sample menu...right there where you can choose between retry and keep...before you press keep, give the sample a name and map it to a pad...just by hitting one...

or you make sure you just keep it go to main page and then to program....choose one, choose a pad and then pick your new sample here....

don't worry the first two weeks on a new, complex machine like this are bit of a pain in the ass...but you get used to it soon.....

i agree with ya!!!!!

Go to your main screen and make sure you DON`T have a synth program pulled up on whatever track your on.

The go to TRIM find the sound,hit window,and tap the pad you want it assigned to.
