UPGRADING FROM AN MPC2000XL TO AN MPC3000LE!!!

I would love to see a track mute screen on the 3000 like on the XL
It's also a shame the XL don't have 4 midi outs
Pro's and cons to each machine

Lol I liked the Help button on my old S-3000 when I was learning it.
They didn't include it in the later XL's but I think it was a cool feature lol

i dnt get why ppl but the rack samplers and have a mpc...dnt they do the same just no pads

A lot of people don't call MPC's propper samplers..to be honest they are just very restricted esp the MPC-60 compared to a S-3000 or 6000
An S series can do SO MUCH more..think of it as an instrument not a phrase/drum sampler...a Motif is a ROMPLER thats very much like an Akai rack in architecture and so is a Triton and all them lot...yeah you can create a 4 way velocity switched multi sampled piano in your S-3000..

and i see they have xl models of them as well.

The XL's came before the MPC XL's..
The MPC's were designed as we all know by Roger Linn..mainly as a rhythm machine with a great sequencer...thus the sampler part of it is mainly aimed at one shot drum samples..the S series was aimed to give people a Fairlight or Emulator on a afordable level..and it did BIG time

yeae thats all the 60 is good for as far as sampling thats if ur not working with the 3.10 its only good for one shot drum samples.
