volume question-

im making my own drum set.
when setting up the volume 4 each sound is it good 2 start with the vol. half way so that later on when mixing u can have more control?

Its kinda opinion.

I start with the levels 3/4's of the way up then make the beat, then i mix after that. But it doesnt really matter. You can start with them wherever.
