Elevated: have you worked with a blue screen before? I'm trying to get a good comparison from someone who's used both the blue and the white...can anyone shed some light on this?

Never used an aftermarket blue screen, no. I've got a Triton with a blue screen... which is hard to read compared to my new white in the MP.

So white would be the way to go for easy reading?

The white is very easy to read, definitely. I haven't used the custom blue, but the inverted color scheme (and overwhelming blue-ness) kept me from ever considering one.

I hear ya, They do look sharp when you take a look at one, but as for working on one for hours, I don't know...can anyone else chime in on this that's spent some time with a blue one?

I had an MPD with blue on it! It was blue, and white for the text. Way better than green + black for sure.

I work with the blue screen and love it. I've only had green screens on which ever piece of equipment I ever had so I can't speak for all colors, but I love the blue.

I really wanted the white screen but decided on the blue.

just thought I'd bump this and see how you guys still like the white and blue screens (for those that have 'em)

Also, anyone have any luck getting in touch with Alex from needlewerks? I've sent him some PM's here and have had no luck...curious when he's getting more white screens, if ever.

I have the blue screen and love it. I did not get the white screen but would have liked to. But I ain't mad at the blue screen. I keep a black light on when I'm recording and the blue screen works well with "low light"... from the look, the white would kind of be too bright... if that makes any sense?

I already have the blue screen, black nobs and I also have the new LED "see-threw" buttons and have on order the blue pads. I have black now but thought I'd get it to go with blue screen.

If you anyone would host the pic I'd let you get the picture of it.

I think you can host it for free on photobucket, you just have to make an account which you can use a dummy email address for if you don't want to give you real one.
